Zachary Howell, B.S., C.A.M.T.
With a degree in Psychology from Oregon State University Zach brings a unique perspective into the apartment facility maintenance field. Zach is an Independent Maintenance Operations Consultant and Training Director for Apartment Maintenance Institute. He also holds a Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (C.A.M.T.) designation. His passion for maintenance training extends to his surrounding neighbors as a Community Education Faculty member at Portland Community College.
Zach enjoys his role as a Subject Matter Expert for the National Apartment Association (NAA), and performs director duties for the Oregon C.A.M.T. program through his involvement with Metro Multifamily Housing Association (MMHA), and is the Chairman of the Education Committee for MMHA. In 2007 he was recognized as Maintenance Person of the Year at the Apartment Community Excellence Awards (ACE).
His years of experience at all levels within the apartment maintenance industry serve him well when training, writing, and advocating for the apartment maintenance profession here in the Metro area and around the nation.
