No matter if the setting is intimate with only a few technicians or an auditorium full of hundreds of participants. The training style of AMI is very free flow. The objective is to create an atmosphere where questions can be asked and solutions can be found for specific problems students are seeing in the field. The goal of any training is to give the student usable knowledge that pertains directly to what they do each day in order to make their lives easier and more efficient. That is the approach of all AMI trainings. Many times the audience will actually help lead the conversation, yes we cover the outlined topical information, but sometimes the most important information that is learned doesn’t come from the pre-set topical presentation. The real solutions come when industry professionals discuss their true needs and challenges. As instructors it is our responsibility to engage the audience not only to get the specific topic across, but to create an environment where people feel comfortable to share, ask questions and enjoy learning.
