This might be the most important course to send your maintenance staff to attend.  The number one reason residents move after the purchase of a home or a rent increase is poor maintenance.  Many times it isn't because the maintenance staff didn't understand the technical repair, but because they did not communicate effectively and professionally with the resident.  We are in a service industry and people pay every month for our services and after they sign the lease and bring in a monthly check the main staff member residents interact with are on the maintenance or service team.
