HIRING & SUPERVISING VENDORS & CONTRACTORS Hiring and Supervising Contractors & Vendors This is a skill that must be taught.  Many maitnenance supervisors find it difficult to locate and hire new vendors.  Once vendors do work onsite many don't know how to supervise and inspect thier work for quality and compliance with the agreed upon contract or negotiated terms.  This class will give your staff members new tools to be able to work effectively with vendors, and deal with any issues which may arise do to work quality, personality, or communication. The course covers scheduling, three bid process, creating the scope of work, change orders, payments, inspections, and final punch lists.
